HR Generalist with a Focus on Development

The Church of Sweden in Falun consists of five parishes that together form the Falu parish.

We have about 70 employees within parish activities and cemetery management. Falun is a rich cultural and historical region that goes back at least a thousand years and has created a World Heritage Site through the Falu mine. Falun offers beautiful nature, a historic mine, a rich music and theater scene, great opportunities for outdoor activities, countryside, and a vibrant city center.

About the Position

Do you want to help shape the future of HR work in an organization that makes a difference? We are looking for an engaged HR generalist who enjoys variety and wants to contribute to development. With us, no day is like the other – you will work both strategically and operationally across the entire HR area.

Examples of Work Areas:

  • New contract terms and salary formation
  • Rehabilitation and work environment (SAM and OSA)
  • Recruitment and organizational development
  • Labor law, personnel economics, and active measures against discrimination

Your Responsibilities

  • Be a qualified support for managers in HR matters
  • Develop work environment efforts – both preventive and remedial
  • Drive recruitment, rehabilitation, and other HR processes
  • Communicate with trade union representatives (some negotiation experience required)

We work in Microsoft 365 with Teams as our main collaboration platform.

Who Are You?

  • You have a degree in human resources or another relevant background
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in HR work and are confident in the role of managerial support
  • You have good knowledge of labor law and union relations
  • You are self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented
  • You have a B driver's license and access to a car

Meritorious: Experience with Microsoft 365 and interest in organizational development.

Practical Information

The position is a permanent employment that may start with a probationary period. Interviews are scheduled for January 30, 2026, but the position may be filled earlier.
